L’Anse aux Meadows National Historic Site


The number one destination for Newfoundland and Labrador. Of course, who wouldn't want to step back in time and live like a viking. discovered in 1968, by archaeologists Helge and Anne Stine Ingstad. You can now walk through the replicated viking port and trade, throw axes, make pottery, and play Norse games when you visit this monumental historic site.
Make sure you check out the ten foot tall statue of Leif Ericson made of bronze on the wharf.

Santana trail


-A moderate to difficult hike. Take in the beauty of the Atlantic coast. This trail involves walking up the long wooden staircase. Wind your way up the hill where you'll loop back down to Harbour Road and finishing at Fishing point.

Whale watchers trail


An easy trail, will take about 30 minutes to complete. Consists of rustic boardwalks and stairways. Rewarding you with the spectacular view of Fishing points massive cliffs in the Atlantic ocean. Watch the whales from the top, they offer a telescope. It does cost but it's more than worth it.

Fortune Head Geology Centre


A really cool center with lots to see from fossils to prehistoric predators . You can even go on you own fossil find along the Horsebrook trail. They offer guided tours of Fortune Head Ecological Reserve.
